full-shot
We’re back from a very successful trade show & have lots to talk about!

For now, we’re all abuzz about a new artist called Candy Canvas. Her unique designs were quite a hit at the show & we wanted to show off her talents as soon as possible.

The canvases of Canvas Candy are a touch of the extraordinary. Coupled with matching glass ornaments, these canvases look so realistic, you want to reach out and touch them to see if you can actually eat the pickle on top!

These canvases come in a wide range of designs, including Oriental styles, edible treats, road signs, traditional Christmas ornaments and more. Keep an eye out — we’ll offer these new canvases online and in the store as soon as our order comes in from the trade show!

Until then, here’s a little test: Can you pick out which ones are the glass ornaments and which ones are the stitched pieces from the picture below?

We just received our show order from Kirk & Hamilton. They are a new artist for us here at the .Com, although anyone familiar with Elizabeth Bradley is already aware of these gorgeous designs. Kirk & Hamilton are the artists behind the stunning Elizabeth Bradley Blooms collection.

To Go Kits

At the shop and through our website online, we are constantly being asked for stitch suggestions, stitch guides — anything we can show someone that is new and exciting.

Out of these requests came an idea — what if we created Needlepoint University??

Offered online and packaged in great “take away” boxes in the store, Needlepoint University is a rotating, ever-changing list of needlepoint projects that our customers can enjoy.

Each package comes with a painted canvas, thread pack, needle and of course, the stitch suggestions.

We have grouped them into various categories, including Needlepoint 101, Needlepoint 201, Masters Level and our Needlepoint Clubs (currently, the popular Nativity & Fat Santa series respectively!)

Learn more. Take a class with us with your own Needlepoint University project today!
